It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Christopher Charles Jia-Hoo Yu, on May 3, 2025. A proud father to Riley and Nolan, Chris found his greatest joy in watching his children grow and sharing with them the things he loved most. Whether it was a quiet morning on the boat or a crisp day in the woods, Chris was an avid outdoorsman who took pleasure in passing on his passion for fishing, hunting and nature. He was also known for his love of food and incredible skill in the kitchen. A generous and creative cook, he took pride in preparing meals that brought family together, always served with warmth, laughter and plenty to go around. Chris lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and a genuine appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. He will be missed by all who knew him. A private family service is being held; fond memories and messages of condolence may be shared for the family below.
