loved ones. He was a natural storyteller who engaged
people through his music, writing and conversation. He
played guitar and recorded his own songs. His mentor,
Mr. Rogers, set him on a course of curiosity, observation,
and reverence for the natural world. As owner-operator of
a log salvage business, he was an original
"beachcomber". Armed with pen and pad, Clint jotted
volumes wherever he ventured. He gifted us with his
distilled thought drops in the chapbook "...Reminder".
After raising his family, he lived on his own at the edge of
Courtenay in the bush for seventeen years. His strength
of will was unfathomable. A man of all seasons.
