Emile Joseph Bernard Parent, age 69, of Courtenay, British Columbia passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in the Comox Valley Hospital. Emile was born in Big River, Saskatchewan, January 15, 1953.
Emile was a prominent businessman in the Comox Valley for over 30 years. He started out his working career as a roofer, in Business with his father doing renovations (Bear enterprises) after the passing of his father Bernard Parent he went into apartment maintenance (Little Bear Enterprises). He finally settled into the Siding business (Parent Siding and Soffits). Emile was well respected and will be missed.
Predeceased by wife Eileen Parent, Father Bernard Parent, Mother Aurelie Parent nee Brassard, Brother Robert Parent, and Sister Yvonne Meier Nee Parent. Survived by Sister Ghislaine (Gerrie) Beatch nee Parent Victoria, BC; Daughter Shanna Miller nee Parent Edmonton, Alberta; and Step-Son Tim Anthis Victoria, BC.
