Erik was born Dec 4, 1984, in Comox, British Columbia. Erik attended high school in Campbell River, British Columbia at Timberline Secondary. He went on after to work with his brothers in construction in Calgary, Alberta and later working for Truffles Fine Foods while pursuing his personal training certification. Erik enjoyed time with family and friends, the outdoors, music, work as well as personal training and fitness.
Erik is survived by parents Rod and Susan, siblings and spouses Terry and Paula, Nickolas and Chantel Rick and Lisa, Craig and Shannon, and Jessica, nieces and nephews Rayanne, Zachary, Kyan, Rielle, and Lukas and many other family and friends.
Erik is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Yolanda Pearson and Tom and Joyce Slater.
