Gary was an only child. In summers he would pick blueberries, work with horses but loved working on cars.
He joined the Military Air Force and travelled. He always kept busy working on cars as a side job. He left the Military and went into Truck driving. Gary enjoyed moving and seeing new people and places across Canada, United States, Alaska and the Northwest Territories.
Gary is survived by Elizabeth A.S. Crepault, his common-law wife of 30 years, Carole A. Wrightson, wife - separated 30 years, daughters Tammy L. Thornton, and Christina S.L. Wrightson, grand daughter Linda P. Thornton, great grandson Ryker F. Pickard.
A Celebration of Life is to be announced at a later date.
