Karen Maureen (Ward) Davis

She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her husband, child and sister.

Karen was predeceased by her mother and father, Edna and Cecil Ward. She is survived by her husband, Russ Davis, child, Jaxon Guthrie, sister, Kathleen Pacey, brother-in-law, Walter Davis and his wife Shirley, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Karen was a lab tech from 1977 until 2008 when she retired to pursue their family business.

Karen obtained her pilot's license and continued to get her commercial pilots license once she finished her studies in becoming a lab technician. She loved gardening, crafting, water skiing, downhill skiing, slow pitch, and camping amongst many other activities.

She suffered from several illnesses and mishaps during her 69 years.

Karen was a faithful and active member of Comox Pentecostal Church since 2005. She was a gentle and giving soul who lived her life according to her beliefs.

Karen will be sadly missed by her dear friends and family.

A celebration of Life will be held at the Comox Pentecostal Church, 1919 Guthrie Rd,

Comox, BC, V9M 3X7, on Saturday Sept. 7, 2024, at 1 pm. A reception will follow the service in the lower portion of the Church. Karen loved flowers, and her wish was to have many flowers at her service. Any flowers should be at the Church around 11 am – 12 Noon.
