

Mom started her life in Nelson in 1943, from there she graduated and joined the R.C.A.F. as a Supply tech. Her first posting was Zweibrucken, Germany where she married and had her first two children. Next posting took her family to Edmonton where she had her third child, then on to Cold Lake and finally to the Comox Valley.
Mom had many hats Librarian, data entry, florist and the most adventurous her pilot license at 50. Her love of travel found her on cruise ships and other adventures such as mud baths in Columbia and ziplining. Her love of cats was shown with her support of catspan. Mom made friends wherever she went. She leaves behind many friends, especially in the Kiwanis village and Glacier Day Program.
She is survived by her children Barbara, Teresa (Rino), Brian, and their father Gil
Grandchildren Robin, Tyrone (Anna), Jasmine, Natasha, Lily and Gunnar
Great grandchild Lillian.
She will be missed every day.
Special thanks to Dr Bullock for his care of Mom. Thank you to the wonderful support workers who help Mom stay in her home, especially Char, Toni, Anna, and Deana.
