on January 6, 2018.

their loving care.
Muriel marched to her own
tune, always with a twinkle in her eyes.
Muriel’s working career was spend in the 74th
Communication Group of the CAF. She was recognized
for her great dedication and exemplarily work ethics.
After retirement she volunteered for many years at the
Canadian Red Cross Loan Cupboard. She made many
donations to those in need around the world and at
home. If there was a worldly crisis she would be there
with her financial support and most local organizations
benefitted from her contributions.
Muriel will be lovingly remembered by all who had the
blessing of having her in their lives.
Predeceased by her parents, her brother Ted Smith
and sister Joyce Jordan. Survived by her sister Leona
Worcester and many nephews and nieces, plus great
nephews and nieces. Her friends were like family to her,
of special note Judy, Pat and Elaine.
A very special thanks to Elaine and Herb – you made her
life so much better and happier.
A tea in her honor will be held at 2361 6th Street East,
Courtenay, Thursday January 11, 2018 from 2-4pm.
