Every once in a while you meet someone who is truly special, and Sandy was one of them. She had the most refreshing love of life and lived each day to its fullest, no matter what life threw at her.  There is a special place in heaven for you, Sandy. Rest in peace.

Sandy will always be remembered as my yoga warrior! For 16 years she was a dedicated yoga student right up until July of this year! I even remember once she came to class with her foot in a cast! Now that is dedication! I am honoured that I was her yoga teacher and blessed to have had her as a friend!

Sandy was my babysitter before I was school-aged and I remember how excited I was each and every day to spend time with her. In fact, she was the only babysitter I had that I actually liked! 

And then when I got older, she'd always invite me, Malory and Ryan over for a swim in the summers. And, without fail, every year on my birthday, she'd give me a call, and then when I moved out of my parent's house, she'd send me a card. Sandy was a terrific person and she will be missed greatly.

I liked Sandy right away when I first met her at Merivale High School - she was so bubbly, friendly & caring.
