Aurora T. Contreras

Aurora T. Contreras was known as many things to many people. She was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew her best, Aurora will be remembered as a very exceptional person.

Aurora was born on May 24, 1925 in Jalisco, Mexico. She was the daughter of Pedro Torres and Ma De Jesus Chavez.

Aurora worked hard to be a good mother to her children and she did her best to fulfill their needs. Aurora was blessed with fourteen children. She had Salvador, Adelina, Gloria, Juan, Maria, Claudia, Aurora, Enrigue, Manuel, Amalia, Arnulfo, Lupe, Patricia and Rosio.

Aurora’s faith was important to her. She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church.

Aurora passed away on January 30, 2012 at La Verne, California. She is survived by her loving family. Services were held at Custer Christiansen Chapel. Aurora was laid to rest in Jalisco, Mexico.

Simply stated, Aurora was a good and kind person, an individual who will for all time be remembered by her family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Aurora leaves behind her a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life she touched will always remember Aurora T. Contreras.
