Nelda Betancourt Cadena, age 85, passed away on April 3, 2013 in Covina, California. She was born in Texas on September 26, 1927. She was a homemaker who lived in the San Gabriel Valley area for 58 years. She loved yard sales, thrift stores, sweets, her family and restaurants. She is survived by her children Rosella Yvette Lyman, Michelle C. (William) Quinn, Katherine L. Olivas, Richard Cadena, Walter N. (Bertha) Cadena, Susan Cadena, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
