Carmen Ann Erdman

She was born in Lafayette, LA on October 21, 1937, the oldest of four children born to Aurelia and Milton Rodriguez.

She was married to Sidney Leonard Erdman for 33 years who preceded her in death in 1991.

She was an officer of the Lay Carmelite Community and had a passion for her faith and church family, which gave her great peace.

She is survived by her five children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren: her son Keith Erdman, his wife Adrian, and his child Michael; her son Lawrence Erdman; her daughter Linda Dowling, her husband James, and her children Sean and Syndney; her son Wayne Erdman, his wife Nadear, their child Tyyah, and his children Nicholas, Caden and Leyla; her son David Erdman, his wife Donna, and their children Ashton and Zachary. She is also survived by her brothers Calvin and Daryl.

Carmen is preceded in death by her brother Milton and her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 11:00 am at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1501 W Causeway Approach, Mandeville, LA 70471 with visitation at the church beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services at Saint Joseph Abbey Cemetery, Saint Benedict, LA.
