Dolores “Dee” Helen LeBlanc, age 92, of Mandeville, LA passed away on November 30, 2023. She was born on October 3, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to Samuel and Beatrice (Becker) LeBlanc. Dee graduated from St. Stephens High School, later married and had four children. Dee lived in Kenner, raised and supported her children with jobs at the Fairgrounds, Jefferson Downs, and was an assistant manager for Tenneco. She followed her daughter to Mandeville and spent a lot of her life caregiving for her elderly Mother “Granny B”, a job that came natural to such a loving caring lady. Dee loved Mardi Gras and rode on a truck Mardi Gras Day as a member of Last Chance Carnival Club for 20 years. Dee never knew a stranger and to know her was to love her. Dee was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great-Grandmother.
Dee is survived by her daughter Linda LeBlanc Gallmann (Louis), her sons Bobby (Pam), Tommy (Toni), and Ronnie (Sandy) LeBlanc; 17 Grandchildren, Ginger Guitreau (Bobby), Aaron LeBlanc (Lindsey), Jeremy LeBlanc (Shelby), Melissa Leblanc, Karen Olmstead (Robbie), Jennifer Myers (Jon), Melissa Woodward (Bill), Jennifer Gannon (Todd), and Dara and Devan McDonald; 18 Great-Grandchildren, Chad Guitreau (Courtney), Baylon Heider, Lacy Neathamer (Zander), Madison Clayton, Jaycie Olmstead, Jacob and Jason Myers, Peyton, Landen, and Aiden Woodward, Lexi, Chloe, and Logan LeBlanc, Avah Foucha and Maddox Verges; and 5 Great-Great-Grandchildren, Lukas and Peyton Guitreau, Raiden, Alice, and Caston Ledet. She is also survived by two nephews Danny Ramagoz and Sam Ramagoz.
Dee is preceded in death by her grandson Louis Gallmann IV, her great-granddaughter Destinie Conlin, her sister Evelyn Ramagoz (Leon), and her niece Donna Ramagoz
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Damian Zablocki, at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:30 PM with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM.
Burial will follow the services in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum under the direction and care of Grace Funeral Home.
