Gary P. Knaak passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021. He was active and able, but passed away unexpectedly of natural causes. Gary was born in Milwaukee, Wi. On October 25, 1936. He graduated college from Western Michigan University. He is survived by his children Amy Helen Knaak Solis(Kenny), Clinton Todd Knaak(Elizabeth)His grand children Skylar Knaak, Ricky Solis, Jack Solis and Sam Solis, as well as his sister Peggy Campbell and brother James Knaak, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Helen Knaak. Gary was retired after working 27 years for Hoechst Roussel Pharmaceutical as a senior sales representative. He enjoyed life and lived it on his own terms. He was always quick with a smile or a joke, and usually the life of the party. He enjoyed sailing, playing golf, and working on his classic 1966 Mustang. He took great joy in spending time with his family, and loved being with his grandchildren. He was a religious man and took solace in his personal relationship with God. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A private family burial will be held.
