Janice retired from BellSouth/ATT in New Orleans and Jefferson Parish School Board. Since her retirement, she has resided in Terrytown and New Orleans and most recently moved to Covington, LA. Janice enjoyed spending time with her family. She took great pride in all of her children and grandchildren and was overjoyed with the birth of her first Great-Grandchild, Allie. Janice’s family nickname was “Disneyland Granny”. She enjoyed sharing her many trips to Disneyworld with her grandchildren and having a yearly “Granny Camp” in the summers with her Grandchildren. She loved celebrating with her grandchildren through the years by attending birthday parties, sporting events, recitals, award ceremonies, graduations and was forever famous for bringing the balloons and homemade candies and treats and always with a camera in hand. Her most enjoyed hobbies were shopping, baking, candy-making, crafting with her craft groups, playing cards and Bunco with several different card groups, trips to the casinos and was also a member of the Apple Pie Club and the Red Hats Society. In her earlier years, she proudly volunteered her spare time dressing up as a clown, making balloon art for sick children in local hospitals. Granny was truly one-of-a-kind, loving and caring Grandmother, mother and friend and will be missed by us all.
