

Judy Blackwell Rojas, age 76 passed away peacefully while sleeping in the company of her family at Forrest Manor Nursing Home, Covington, Louisiana on June 19th, 2021. She was born on March 22, 1945 in Fort Payne, Alabama to Jewell Mamie Willis and “Arthur” Wayne Blackwell.
On March 11th, 1966 she married her loving husband, Eric C. Rojas. Judy loved spending time with her family and playing rummy, perfume shopping, collecting dolls, beanie babies, figurines and watching soap operas and movies. She enjoyed and loved her work as a TSA Transportation & Security Agent at the airport and meeting and interacting with people from all over the world.
Judy was predeceased by her daughter; Lisa English Quave, mother; Jewell Mamie Willis, father, “Arthur” Wayne Blackwell, stepmother; Geraldine Blackwell, and brother; Ronald Knutt.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Eric C. Rojas, her siblings; Caroline Hooper, Marsha Brown, Lee Blackwell, Michael Blackwell, Jerrell Blackwell, her children; Eric B. Rojas and Aimee G. George, her grandchildren; Kenneth Quave, Ain-Clair Booth, Jocelyn Piegot, Michael Rojas, Donovan Rojas, Rebecca Resendez, Gabrielle Rojas, Ava George, Adeline George, great-grandchildren; Taylor Quave, Trevor Quave, Britton Quave, Jeremih Pigott, Malakai Pigott, Josih Pigott, and Brice Williams. Her pet dogs, Linus and Bella and her birds, Bobby and Pidgy and Baby Bird.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, Louisiana 70433 on Thursday July 22, 2021 at 2:00 PM.
