Patti carried a West Texas spirit of resilience and warmth throughout her life. Patti’s life was an adventure that took her across the country. As an oilfield wife during her marriage to Larry McKinney, she mastered the art of building a home and community wherever the road led. She was a pillar of every church she joined and remained deeply involved in her community, always ready to lend a hand or kind word. Known for her love of rhythm and celebration, Patti truly loved to dance. Whether it was at a community event or family gathering, she brought joy to the dance floor. Above all, she cherished family vacations and gathering everyone for the holidays, finding great happiness when her house was full of laughter and the people she loved most.
Patti was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Larry McKinney—the father of her three children—and Doug Muller.
She is survived by her sister Linda Burkes; her children Michele McKinney, Holli McKinney (Gilbert Gauthier), Cody McKinney (Jenn); stepsons Adam Muller (Raquel), and Noah Muller (Laura); grandchildren Gabbi, Gideon, Belle, Jacob, Dacoda, Cameron, Kane, Reagan, Aden, Austin, Julianna, Aaron, and Adelaide; great grandchildren Colton, Riley, and Aubree. Patti also leaves behind to cherish memory a host of extended family and friends.
