Paul Simpson was the father of Jessica Ward, Jacob Simpson (Molly), Jenna Simpson, Joshua Simpson, and Joseph Simpson. He is survived by five grandchildren, Kennedie, Kaylee, Nora, Troy and Jane. He was the son of the late Marion “Doc” Simpson and Shirley Simpson. He was brother to Ellis Simpson, Mary Landry, David Simpson, Lori Simpson-Taylor, the late Robert Simpson, and Christopher Simpson.
For his last six years he lived in Albania with his girlfriend Sonila, exploring Europe and living out his dream to see the world. He was a software engineer and worked in various sectors of the IT field. He was loved deeply by his family and friends. He had a deep love for all different types of music and would at times play in a local band, pursuing his passion for music and sharing his excitement for life with everyone he interacted with.
Visitation for Paul will be held on Thursday, May 15 at Grace Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana beginning at 9:00 AM, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Paul will be laid to rest at Abita Springs Cemetery.
