Paula never met a stranger and added light and life to every room she entered. She participated in, Dance, Karate, Cheer, Swimming, Zumba, Horseback Riding, Bowling, Singing, was a member of many Clubs/Camps and many, many, more activities. Paula volunteered (Head Start and other places) her time and energy caring for others which led to her many friendships over many miles and age groups. She was able to bring out laughter in every situation. Workouts with her Mom were no exception. A hard workout and belly laughs were a must. Time with Dad always included snuggles and lots of giggles because dad was always stealing neck sugars.
During the last year, Paula enjoyed what she called “My Place” at Alexander Milne. She never wanted to miss a class or event and said she had the best House Mom’s. She loved her new nicknames “Diva” and “Buttercup” and would answer to either. We always knew Paula was safe and secure because she was taken care of like family.
Canon Hospice gave, to Paula, the greatest gift of peace and comfort in her final days. They gave family and friends valuable time and guidance through rough times. We were able to feel comfort in knowing that Paula was in no pain and gently transitioned onto her next adventure. Look out Angels!
With her huge heart, Paula always showed love, care and compassion. Not to mention, THE BEST HUGS with the SWEETEST SMILE.
