

Virginia Rita "Ginger" Graham, 46, of Slidell, LA, passed away on June 29, 2024. Born on November 4, 1977, in New Orleans, LA, Ginger was known for her big heart and eagerness to help others. She graduated from Slidell High School in 1998 and attended Delgado Community College for two years.
Throughout her life, Ginger was deeply involved in her community, volunteering at Slidell Memorial Hospital Child Care Center and STARC of Louisiana. She was an active member of St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Slidell, where she contributed to the Fitness Ministry and the church gift shop. Recognizing her dedication and spirit, the church encouraged her to start a disability ministry.
Ginger is survived by her father, Evan Bernard Graham; mother, Rita Pepperman Graham; brother, Evan Bernard Graham Jr. and his wife Ashley. Ginger was the proud "Nanny" to nieces, Morgan and Laney Graham and nephew, Evan Graham III. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Olivette Schoell Graham and John H. Graham Sr., and her maternal grandparents, Margaret Furlong Pepperman and William J. Pepperman Sr. as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 58203 LA-433, Slidell, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM followed by Mass at 11:00 AM. A private burial will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery Number 1 in New Orleans, LA.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the St. Tammany Parish First District Fire Department, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, the compassionate doctors and nurses at Slidell Memorial Hospital, and the dedicated team at Compassus Hospice. Your exceptional care and unwavering support provided comfort and solace during Ginger's final days.
