Too many good ones. We met in middle school and was classmates until graduation at chalmette high. Then he married my sister Christine Ford. Dale took care of my sister and mother for about 12 years. Thank you my friend for that. Dale, John , Don and myself wher very close friends growing up. Dale was always the good one of the group. Level headed. His blood line will go on with his great son Cody in charge now. I will dearly miss my friend Dale. See you again.👍🙏🙏👌

Dale was a great family man and friend whom loved deeply.
I've had the pleasure of joining he and Sherene on many vacations through out the years.
He will be greatly missed, but thought of often.
I guess my finest memories would be his easy going personality and laugh.
I loved when he would have the little ones smell his ice cream cone. As they smelled it he would put a dab on their nose, then put a dab on his nose as well.
I loved our crawfish and crab boils.
And he loved to make us breakfast.
Thank you for being such a great husband to my bestie.
Love you always. 😘

Dale lived across the street from me and was one of the first neighbors to welcome me from Ky. He was an awesome guy who always stopped and said hello during any day. After he met Sherene he often would ask me what I thought of her. I would always give her the thumbs up and I thinks she’s ok talk to him. He would come back with how much he enjoyed being around her and they got along great! We would laugh and he would finish by saying “I’m gonna marry her, I think!” He knew he would marry her and I knew it too. He had met the love of his life and he enjoyed talking about her.
We talked about my cancer and my fight many times and he always looked at me with disbelief in how I kept going. I told him it’s hard but just hard enough that I can pull it off. I never sat and talked a lot about it because I needed to hear more of his funny stories. Dale is a true man and a great friend. I will always see him laughing and eating crawfish from the tailgate of his truck with us. I’ll keep fighting cancer just to prove a point, it isn’t the the final fight. Love you brother!

Dale was a man who not only opened his heart to us but also impacted a lasting memory of what a “good soul” at its very best truly is...Kind, generous, self giving and most of all, loving. Rest In Peace dear nephew. +++
