It is with great sadness that the family of Brandon Vigil announce his passing on July 4, 2022 at the age of 34. Brandon was born to Vernon and Elaine (Mora) Vigil on April 26, 1988 in Craig, Colorado. Vernon and Elaine were both originally from Montrose yet moved to Craig to start a family. Brandon was raised and attended school in Craig where he later graduated from Moffat County High School in 2006. Brandon along with his best friend Jason joined the Marines after high school. During his time in the USMC, Brandon earned the rank of Corporal, which he was very proud of. After honorably serving his country, Brandon moved to Grand Junction where he went to work in the oil field. During his time in Grand Junction, Brandon met and married his wife Chelsie. To this union, his beautiful daughter Macie was born. Macie will forever be the girl who stole Brandon’s heart and called him Dad. Brandon enjoyed many hobbies. He loved fishing, camping, riding his four wheeler, shooting his guns and riding bikes with Macie. Brandon was a goofball! He truly had the kindest soul and was always willing to step in and help others in need. Simply put, if you knew him, you will never forget how he made you feel. He will be greatly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. Brandon is survived by his wife Chelsie; daughter Macie; parents Vernon and Elaine (Mora) Vigil; brother Cory; grandfather Andy Mora; grandmother Bernice Vigil; Many aunts, uncles, and so, so many cousins.
