A memorial service honoring Louise’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in Craig. Interment will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lander, Wyoming, where she will be laid to rest next to her late husband and her son, Dale.
Edna Louise (Brannan) Irvine was born the eldest child of Dale and Edna Brannan on April 11, 1949, in Craig, Colorado. She later welcomed home three brothers: Wayne, Fred and Pat.
Louise and family lived on a ranch at Greasewood and attended school on Great Divide. When Louise was ready for the 3rd grade, Dale and Edna bought a farm north of the river at Maybell, so she could go to school there. Louise graduated from Moffat County High School in Craig.
Louise married Duane Irvine and moved to Lander, Wyoming, where she worked at many jobs and raised three sons: Lonnie, Aaron and Dale. After the passing of her husband Duane and son Dale, Louise moved back to Craig to be closer to her family.
Louise always had a hug for everyone and loved to stop and chat with anyone.
Louise is survived by her sons, Lonnie Irvine and Aaron Irvine both of Craig; and two brothers, Fred Brannan of Craig and Pat (Lisa) Brannan of Arizona. She is further survived by several extended family members and her beloved church family.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Irvine; one son, Dale Irvine; one brother, Wayne Brannan; and her parents, Dale and Edna Brannan.
