Jennifer Ranea Holmlund

Jennifer Ranea Holmlund was born on July 5, 1967 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to James Calvin Kline and Phyllis Maxine Moore, passed away after a sudden illness on December 21, 2023 surrounded by family.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her father James “Jim” Kline and a sister Cynthia Kline. Jennifer is survived by her mother Phyllis Moore formerly of Hayden, CO, Husband Ryan S. Holmlund of Craig, CO.

Jarrod and Meranda Holmlund and their two sons Ezaryan and Edreyzen Holmlund of Rock Springs, WY, Bruce J. and Laurie Holmlund and their two daughters Jayden Carsley and Ryann Holmlund of Meeker, CO, Nephew Damon Trull (Jennielyn Bartus) and his daughter Kaylee Trull of Boise Id. Younger sister Katine Kline and husband Rob Rowe and their daughter Aylah Rowe of Hayden, CO., Stepmother Patty Kline of Craig, CO., Stepsister Charlotte (Ryan Baker) of Craig, CO, Stepsister Nicki (Bandy Foyle) of Gillette, WY, stepbrother Adam Lee of Craig, CO

Jennifer grew up the oldest of three daughters with an adventurous father and mother and two historically significant family trees linked to the past of the Routt County area. Her paternal great grandfather was Irving (I.G.) Arnold. Jennifer paternal grandparents were Ed (Jr.) and Aldean Kline of EK Bar Ranch Heritage. Jennifers maternal grandparents were Ed & Laura Moore of Hayden, CO.

Jennifer graduated from Hayden Highschool in 1985 and attended Mesa College 1985 to 1986.

Jennifer and Ryan were married on May 23, 1992 in Grand Junction, CO. They resided in Grand Junction, Fruita and Loma area before moving to Craig, CO in 2002. Jennifer and Ryan owned and operated Routt Sanitation from 2002 to 2019.

Jennifer was known for being a self-sacrificing woman who always took time for her children and grandchildren. Jennifer was a loyal friend to those who knew her and would do anything to help a friend or family member.

A celebration of life will be Saturday December30, 2023 at the Hayden Congregational Church in Hayden, CO at 11:00 a.m.
