Sandra Katherine Montieth

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Katherine Montieth of Hayden, who passed away peacefully in Wheat Ridge. Sandra was born on October 2, 1962, in Hayden, Colorado, and will be remembered for her kind heart, love of family, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Sandra cherished spending time with her family and friends and especially loved being at the family ranch, where many treasured memories were made. She also had a deep love for music, especially the band Sawyer Brown, whose songs brought her happiness throughout the years.

She is survived by her brother, Samuel Montieth (Patty); sisters Pamela Hoffman (Mel) and Ruby Wertenberger (Troy); nephews Chris Hoffman (Tamra) and Braylin Wertenberger; nieces Tara Munoz (Arty), April Montieth, and Heather Antuna (Marcus). Sandra also leaves behind many beloved great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews, as well as extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Barbara Montieth; her nephew, Dwayne Montieth; and her great-nephew, Trystan Campbell.

Sandra’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Hayden Congregational Church in Hayden. Interment will follow at Hayden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandra's memory to Northwest Colorado Home Health & Hospice.
