William “Bubba” Byers was born November 5, 1955 in Nashville Arkansas to Bill & Glinda Byers. Even from a young age he had a love of sports and spent childhood years playing little league baseball where he formed lifelong friendships. He graduated from Nashville High School in 1973 and continued his college education at Quachita Baptist University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree. He then moved back to Nashville to work along side his father at Nashville Electric where in 1978 he welcomed his first daughter Shea and eventually took over the company after his fathers passing in 1982. Soon after in 1983 his 2nd daughter Staci was welcomed.
In 1993 he moved his family to Colorado where he worked various jobs, made new lifelong friendships and welcome his first 4 grandchildren. He then made the move to Texas and once again made new friendships, his 5th grandchild was born. and he started up a couple Electrical Companies.
He had a very strong work ethic, even tried to retire a few times but would get bored and start a new project.
He loved his family. He took great joy in making the drive back to Colorado any chance he got we see his kids and grandkids. And eventually the great grandkids.
He was finally forced to retire after becoming ill and moving back to Colorado so he was close to family and would have that support system. Being a fighter was something he was known for and will be missed by many. He lost his battles on January 15, 2025 in Grand Junction, CO with family by his side.
