Ashley Marie Slevin

She was born on July 12, 1985 in Peoria to Daniel and Christy (Minoff) Roberts.

Ashley is survived by her parents; husband, Garrett Slevin, Jr. of Pekin; one stepson, Sethe Ryan (Mount) Knott of Creve Coeur and one brother, Andy Roberts of Peoria.

She is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents.

She was a seasonal worker at Spirit of Halloween in the Peoria area along with working part time at The Peoria Playhouse Children's Museum located at Glen Oak Park.

Ashley grew up in the Tremont area graduating from Tremont High School. She was an avid tabletop and board game player. She would be known burst out into song at any given time. While working at The Peoria Playhouse Children's Museum she led Dungeons and Dragons sessions for young gamers just getting into the hobby.

Her light will never be truly extinguished and will always shine bright for all those that she touched.

A gathering celebrating Ashley’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
