

Born November 30, 1964 in Peoria to Donald and Johanna (Gardner) Brown, she married Troy Driffill on July 12, 1996 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are her father, Donald Brown of East Peoria; her mother, Johanna Gordon of Creve Coeur; her step father, Mitchell Gordon; three children; Emily Driffill of Creve Coeur, Alex (Henny) Brown of Pekin and Sam Driffill of Creve Coeur; three grandchildren, Parker Brown, Jace Brown and Mila Brown; one sister, Eva (Don) Friday of Metamora; one brother, Russell (Amanda) Brown of East Peoria; two step brothers, Tim (Jodi) Gordon of Pekin and Tom (Sarah Jane) Gordon of Metamora; one niece, Allyson (Payton) Little of East Peoria; two nephews, Ben (Kirstyn) Friday of Metamora and Evan Brown of Peoria; and her best friend and travel buddy, Debbie Gore.
She was preceded in death by her step mother, Nancee Brown.
Paula had worked as a waitress for many years at Pekin American Grill.
Family was everything to Paula. She enjoyed tending to her flower garden and traveling along the East Coast. Her last trip was to Salem, Massachusetts, and made several trips to Tennessee with her family.
A gathering celebrating Paula’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
