Creve Coeur ~ Steven E. Harrison, 80, of Creve Coeur, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 30, 1945, in Peoria, a son of Elgin Harrison and Inez (Wilson) Sherrock. Steven married Linda Willis on July 17, 1971, in Peoria. She survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Shane) Boyle of East Peoria; and two grandchildren, Peyton and Karly.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
He served his country bravely during the Vietnam War as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army, starting in 1966.
Steven taught his daughter the value of hard work, loyalty, love of family, honesty, compassion for animals, and much more. He was a doting Grandpa and loved his grandchildren.
He was a carpenter and ran Creve Coeur Construction for many years.
Steven's graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 22, 2026, at La Salle Cemetery in Rome with full military honors.
