Born February 5, 1944 in Waynesville, Missouri to John and Frances Ilene (Exindine) Kinworthy, she married John D. Ellis. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2005 in Peoria. She also was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Christopher Brian Ellis.
Surviving are two sons, David (Debbie) Ellis of North Pekin and Larry Ellis of Peoria; one grandson, Josh Ellis of Chicago; three brothers, John Kinworthy of Missouri, Floyd (Pam) Kinworthy of Creve Coeur and Rick Kinworthy of Wisconsin and one sister, Beverly (Ralph) Martin of Peoria.
A homemaker, Wanda enjoyed working puzzles. She also loved spending time with her sister.
No services or visitation are planned. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
