Bobby E. Cain, 79, of St. Albans, went home to be with the Lord on October 26, 2016, after a long illness. He was born on November 21, 1936, to the late Eddie and Edith Cain. He was also preceded in death by his older brother, James Cain; and nephew, Steven Cain. He worked many trades throughout his life, lastly owning his own plumbing business until he retired in 1999. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Loretta A. Cain; daughter, Tina Cain; and son, Timothy Cain, all of St. Albans; grandchildren, Adam (Breanna) Stamper of Charleston, Brittany (A.J.) Comer of Dunbar, Kayla Stamper of St. Albans and Nicholas Cain of Clendenin; great-grandchildren, Owen, Quin and Evan; sisters, Etta Jean Morris of Ashford, Carol (John) Lawson of Florida and Phyllis Lanham of Ohio; brothers, Russell (Sherry) Williamson of St. Albans, Dean Cain of Ashford, Billy (Sharon) Cain of Ashford and Steve (Carolyn) Cain of Racine; as well as many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bobby’s life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 29, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Brian Donze officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. There will be a gathering of family and friends from noon until the time of service at the funeral home Saturday.
