Darrell “DK” Kenneth Wells Sr. 75 of Charleston WV, passed away August 26th 2015. He was preceded in death by his Step Father and Mother, Howard and Grovie Lanham. Surviving are his wife of 54 years Faye Wells of Charleston; two sons Kenny (Karen) Wells and Jeff (Regan) Wells. Also surviving are his two grandsons Christopher and Colten Wells, who were the love of his life and Brother Dennis Craig; Brother In-law Hokey Young and Sister In-law Helen (De De) Young. DK was a Veteran of the United States Navy; a member of Teamsters #175 of which he was Vice President in the early 1980’s; a 32nd degree Mason and member of Masonic Lodge #159 Dunbar where he was a Shriner Boss Clown who was known as "Boo Boo the Clown" . He worked for Bell Lines Trucking; Smith Transfer and Roadway Trucking and was a CDL driving instructor for Tractor Trailers in Kanawha and Boone Co. he was also the Owner of W & W Vending. Services will be Saturday at 3:30pm at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home 5233 Rocky Fork Rd. Cross Lanes, WV. Friends may call from 2:30pm until the time of services.
