Doris Jewel Hechesky, 85 of Cross Lanes, WV passed away April 12, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice West, with her family by her side. She was born the daughter of the late Olin Noah and Ruby C. Ray Foutty. Doris was also preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Hechesky and two brothers Paul and Ray Foutty. Surviving are two sons; Harry (Cindy); Chris (Janice) and a daughter Claudia also surviving is a grandson Joshua and a sister Marilyn Church. She loved her special pet Yorkie; Gidget. Doris was a lifetime resident of Nitro and Cross Lanes and was retired from Monsanto as an Executive Secretary. After retirement she worked for Fruth Pharmacy. The family would like to thank Hospice for all of their care and compassion that they provided. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. Charleston, WV. Services will be held Friday, April 15th, 2016 at 1:00pm with visitation from Noon until service time. Interment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
