Frances Janiece Coles-Lewis, 72, was born to William D. Roy, Sr. and Anna P. Brooks, on November 23, 1945 Thanksgiving Day of that years. She was the oldest of eight children. After graduation from high school, Frances was asked to work in the Department of Health and Physical Education at West Virginia State College when she turned 18. She retired from West Virginia State University after 48 years of service. She is survived by her four remaining brothers and sisters, William Jr., Jessica, Linda, and Michael, as well as her two sons, Rob Coles and Maurice Jarrett, and four grandchildren, Justin, Joseph, Mikaia, and Jaiden. She is also loved and remembered by a multitude of family and friends. Gathering of family and friends will be from 10 until time of service.
