She was born December 31, 1942 in Sissonville, the daughter of John and Erna Boggess Hughart. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Ira Hughart, Opal Tyler, Beatrice J. Hughart, Glenn Hughart, Lowell Hughart, Helen Jones, Edith West, Nobel Hughart, and Maxine Hughart.
Gale was a 1961 graduate of Sissonville High School. Her greatest joy was being a mom and a grandmother. She enjoyed photography and painting. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gary, daughter Lori McDonald, of Cross Lanes, son Phillip Harrison (September), of St Albans, grandchildren Jacob McDonald (Alexandra), Bethany McDonald, Sidney Harrison, Shayla Harrison, and Noah McDonald, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Gale’s life will be 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 22, 2025 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Pastor Richie McNeil officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 2 until time of service at the funeral home.
