Jerrold Wayne “Jerry” Miller, 73, of St. Albans, passed away December 30, 2017 at Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was born October 28, 1944 and was a son of Clarence and Goldie (Byrd) Miller, both of whom preceded him in death. He was retired from Clearon Corporation, South Charleston after 34 years of service. He was a United States Army veteran and an avid West Virginia University fan. Jerry is survived by his wife, Brenda Miller; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Kelly Miller and grandsons, Noah, Jacob and Elijah all of Hurricane; daughter, Heather Smith of Fayetteville, North Carolina; brothers, Danny Miller of South Charleston and Robert Miller of Kentucky; sisters, Sandra Mitchell and Brenda Flenner, both of South Charleston and Barbara Huff of Cleveland, Ohio and two very special friends, Herman Harless and Bob Moore. A celebration of Jerry’s life will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with H. R. Whittington as celebrant. Burial will follow in Donel C. Kinnard Veteran’s Cemetery, Dunbar. There will be a gathering of family and friends from noon until service time at the funeral home.
