

Lindsey Jean Miller went home to be God's Angel on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 11:30 p.m. after a long and courageous fight with cancer. She was born Sept. 13, 1988 in Charleston, a daughter of David and Debbie Miller of Charleston. She is also survived by her sister, Carrie Miller; her Nanny, Donna "Nanny" Short; fiancee, Chris Price; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, William and Kate Short and Carl and Doris Miller, as well as her aunt, Sherry Harmon. Lindsey worked as an RN at CAMC Memorial. She graduated with honors, Sigma Tau Nu and was always on the dean's list at Kanawha Valley Community and Tech. College. A special thanks goes to Cabell Huntington Oncology and Radiation Department and all of the doctors and nurses, especially the Hospice Care nurses. The family would also like to thank everyone who helped with the fundraising benefits, especially North Charleston Baptist Church and many friends and family.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W., Charleston, WV 25387. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV 25313, with Pastor Timothy Marr officiating. Interment will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from noon until service time.
