He was born February 24, 1944 in Clay, the son of Ira Edward and Mabel Edith Duffy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Duffy.
Mike was retired from CSX with over 37 years of service. He was a US Air Force veteran of Vietnam and a faithful member of Washington Street Church of Christ for 25 years. Mike also was an employee of Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home. He was an avid sports fan enjoying golf, WVU Sports, and officiated baseball, basketball and softball. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend that will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Karen, sons, Eric Duffy (Betsy), and Edward Duffy, daughter, Emily Duffy, grandchildren, Nick, Andrew, and Samantha Duffy, sister, Jackie Reynolds, and a host of friends.
Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Washington Street Church of Christ.
