Reta Carol McNeely

She was born August 27, 1941 in Herndon, the daughter of William McKinley and Letha Graham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her infant son Roy W. McNeely, Jr., siblings Lola Snow, Herbert Graham, Ada Cook, Alvis, Willie, and Oley Graham.

Reta was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tyler Mountain. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and doing craft work to give to people.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Roy, daughter Lori McNeely, siblings Joyce Lilly, Retha Mobley, and Elsie Cooper, and a host of other relatives and friends. She would also like to remember a very special family friend Sue Shumate, Joey and Wanda Cooper and their son Adam, and James Jones.

Celebration of Reta’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Sunmer officiating. Private family burial will follow in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny.

Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
