Ruth Joyce Kincaid, 84, of Tornado, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Golden Living Center, St. Albans. She was born Aug. 9, 1931 in Surveyor, the daughter of Pierce and Elsie Deck Clay. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Alan G. Kincaid. She was a member of Humphrey’s Memorial Church of Tornado for over 55 years. She loved her church family and sang in the choir every Sunday. She is survived by her five children, Vicki Montgomery (Mike) of St. Albans, Rick Kincaid, Sr. (Debbie) of Sod, Sandra Vannoy (Bill) of Tornado, Jeff Kincaid (Karen) of St. Albans and Joyce Myers (Rick) of Tornado; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews that she dearly loved. Celebration of Ruth’s life will be at noon Saturday, April 9, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Pastor Richie McNiel officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Gathering of family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humphrey’s United Methodist Church, 7799 Coal River Road, Tornado, WV 25202.
