

Tyler Jay Joseph, age 32, of Ashland, Kentucky, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Ashland, Kentucky. Tyler was a beloved son, father, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend whose life touched many through his hard work, faith, and love for the people around him.
Tyler was a graduate of Sissonville High School and a trade school graduate of Collins Career Center for certified welding, and he built a career as a union welder. He was known for his strength, his big heart, strong work ethic, and dedication to his craft. More than his career, Tyler will be remembered for his faith as a saved Christian and for the love and pride he had in being a father.
He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and street bikes, hunting, fishing, shooting guns, watching UFC and football, lifting weights, working on cars, and motorcycles. He would ride anything with wheels. These were some of the passions that brought him joy and reflected the energetic, adventurous spirit he carried throughout his life.
Tyler is survived by his loved ones, including his parents, Jill Joseph Jones and Jeremy Jones; Oatie Skaggs; his stepmother, Megan Skaggs; his brothers, Tanner Jones and Trea Jones; his sons, Kaiden Joseph, Shayden Whiting, Jasper Vail, and Ryder Joseph; his grandmother, Anna Skaggs; his aunts and uncles, Helen Joseph, Danny Adkins, and Nathan Joseph; along with many other family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Wanda Joseph, and grandfathers, Nathan Joseph, Jr. and Robert Skaggs.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Celebration of Tyler’s life will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Shea officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 5 until time of service at the funeral home.
