
Wilda M. Hanna, 81, of St. Albans, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 15, 2014. She was born Oct. 23, 1933 in Barn, WV, a daughter of Holland and Grace Turnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, L.C. Hanna Jr., and brothers, Vernon, Earl and Fred Turnes. She was a charter member of Cross Lanes Bible Church, where she was head of the church nursery for many years. She was an avid sports fan. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Jeannie Spradling and her husband, Doug, of Teays Valley, Len Hanna and his wife, Darla, of St. Albans and Tammy Hanna-Farrington and her husband, Ivan, of Cayman Islands; grandchildren, Jessica Wood, Amanda Brewer, Clay Hanna, Eric Spradling, Nick Hanna, Ryan Spradling, Anthony Pauley and Ben Hanna; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Jake and Julie Wood, Kaley, Andrew, Cameron, Laiyah and Brayden Brewer; sisters, Mazie Kleiman of Ohio, Velma Dunlap of Missouri, Erma Foster of North Carolina and Punchie McComas of Missouri; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Turnes of Beckley, Vonda Hegmann of Arizona and Rose Constinteen of Charleston. Celebration of Wilda's life will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Pastor Mark Boyd officiating. Entombment will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Gathering of family and friends will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
