Mr. William Danny Stutler

Danny was born on October 16, 1942. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Marilyn Lee Bostic Stutler, parents Wilbert “Bill” and Shirley Hudson Stutler, brothers Thomas “Tommy” Stutler, Larry Stutler and Ronald “Ronnie” Stutler. He is survived by his four daughters Elizabeth

“Beth” Tanzey (Ted), Amy Null (Chris), Meggan Beckner (Jason), Joanna Stutler and fiancé Eric, grandchildren Mikhail “Mike” Tanzey, Leanna Tanzey, Cydnie Null and fiance’ Will, Cody Null, Addyson Beckner, Kamryn Beckner and Jayden Tanzey, granddog Maddy and his greatest companion, his dog Mara.

Danny was a 1962 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School where he excelled in various sports. He was a long time bricklayer and a member of the Local #9 Bricklayers union for over 50 years where he helped build many different structures in and around our area. He was known as one of the best in his trade and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed gardening, caring for his horses, watching WVU Mountaineers and spending time with family and friends who were guaranteed to get a laugh from his jokes. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we are left with the assurance that he accepted Jesus as his Savior.

Special Thanks to all his caregivers at Valley Center, especially Mary who went above and beyond to care for him. Also to the staff of Hubbard Hospice at WVU Thomas. Visitation will be Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Tyler Mountain funeral home. Funeral and graveside service will be on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 11:00 am.
