

Carmella was born on October 4, 1926 to Joseph and Gilda (Randazzo) Germinaro, Sr. in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. She worked and retired as the Secretary to the Principle of Croton-Harmon High School. Affectionally known as “Millie”, she was a lifelong and active parishioner at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton where she was also married. Carmella was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the R.C.I.A. Carmella participated in The Corner Stone Retreat in the parish and was a prolific baker for the Loaves and Fishes program to feed the poor.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Carmella is survived by her loving family; her son Paul Esposito and his wife Elissa, her daughter Donna Esposito, her son Robert Esposito, her devoted sisters; Marie Germinaro and Gilda “Judy” McHale, her adoring grandchildren; David and Jessica Totillo and her seven nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Paul J. Esposito, Jr. on October 13, 1996 and her brother Joseph “Bubby” Germinaro, Jr. on June 24, 2010.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 from 7-9pm and Tuesday, August 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 8th at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.
