Evangelos Vourliotis

On September 30, 2023, Evangelos Vourliotis of Briarcliff Manor passed away at 84. Evangelos was born on May 31, 1939, in Athens, Greece, to the late Demetrios and Anna (Pasaris) Vourliotis. He came to America as a teenager in hopes of a better future. Evangelos was the owner of the restaurant Reef N Beef/Table 9 for over 50 years and was the former owner of Westchester Diner for 25 years. He cared about connecting with people in the community and creating opportunities for others. He was a husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Evangelos was a devoted family man. He was a compassionate, generous, and thoughtful man who touched many lives and will forever be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Vourliotis (Roy); children, Anna Psomas and partner William Tonelli, Demetri Vourliotis and fiancee Beatriz Elisa Gracia, and Michele Vourliotis and partner Demetri Argyros; his four grandchildren, Kirk, Evangelos, Niko, and Kolby; his siblings, Anna Vourliotis and Matthew Vourliotis and sister-in-law Donna Vourliotis; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Barbara Roy; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, October 6th, from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
