Frances Bruno

Frances Bruno of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020. She was 91 years old. Frances was born on February 24, 1929 to Josephine Lepera in Cicala, Calabria, Italy. She immigrated from Italy with her family and lived most of her life in Croton-on-Hudson. She died of natural causes while gardening, one of her favorite pastimes, after making a large batch of her famous meatballs. Frances is survived by her beloved son, Joseph Bruno and his wife Nancy; cherished grandchildren, Joseph Bruno and his wife Tina, Andrea Bruno and Andrew Bruno and her adoring great granddaughter, Francesca Bruno. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Bruno in 1988 and loving son Frank Bruno in 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020 from 9-10am at the Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am following the visitation at Holy Name of Mary Church. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton. She was a lovely woman who I remember fondly along with her mom Josephine from when I lived on Harrison street and from football games where her son Frank played with my brother Tony . May she Rest In Peace reunited with her husband and son and may her surviving family cherish their mrmories❤️
