Robert E. Davis

Robert (also known as “Bob” or “Bobby” and as “Grandpa Bob”, “GPB” or simply “Grandpa”) was born on November 15, 1949 in the Bronx to the late Philip and Alma (Doerr) Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Denise; his stepchildren, Ashley Barrick, Scott Diament, Sahra Diament and Melysa Remo; son-in-law Vincent Remo; brothers, Raymond Davis and Philip Davis; and his gaggle of beloved and adoring grandchildren, Caitlyn Barrick, Olivia Barrick, Emily Barrick, Alexander Diament, Sasha Diament-Yaouanc, Leo Diament, Nicholas Remo, Amelia Remo and Penelope Remo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Jacqueline Scrocca, Kim Boniello, John Scrocca and Kris Dell’Orletta. He was predeceased by his sister Peggy Scrocca.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9 pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Saturday, January 10th at St. Augustine R.C. Church in Ossining, NY. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.

Flowers may be sent to the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home. However, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Bob’s honor to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research or to a charity Bob especially admired, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
