Ronald J. Purcell – 67, of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 due to a chronic illness. He was born in Yonkers and raised in the Bronx. He is survived by his loving wife Helen A. McKiernan of Croton-on-Hudson; a step son Jeffrey Chmielewski and wife Marianne of Danvers, MA; a step daughter Lori A. Palleschi and husband Giancarlo of Highland, NY; grandchildren Alexander, Gabrielle and Robert Palleschi. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Gina Palleschi. He was also predeceased by his parents, his sister Maureen and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed vacationing with his wife in Ocean City Maryland. He was a Manager for AT&T for almost 40 years. He was a fan of NY sports but particularly of the NY Yankees. He loved music, history and movies of all generations. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 1:00pm at Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
