She was born May 3, 1944, in Chicago to Adam and Nandely (Reed) Sedzik. On April 3, 1965, she married Vincent T. Flynn in Roseland.
She had an incredible green thumb but absolutely could not grow tulips, her favorite flower. She was a devoted wife and mother and was known to spoil her grandsons.
She is survived by her husband, Vincent; her daughters, Shannon Flynn and Kelly (Mike) Madura; her grandsons, Shannon and Colton Madura; her mom, Nandely Sedzik; and her sister, Nancyann (Martin) Adler.
She was preceded in death by her father, Adam, and her brother, David Sedzik.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8pm on Tuesday, September 6 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake.
Interment will be private.
