Betty Ann Eddy

She was born March 8, 1927, in Union, to William Hart and Irna (Calsow) Hart.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake. She enjoyed her work as a seamstress for many years. She also enjoyed sewing and embroidery on her own time. She loved her dog, Angel, and cat, Patches, as well as other wildlife including birds and tigers. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers.

She is survived by her children, Connie (Gerry) Steger of Dubuque, Iowa, Clayton (Laura) Eddy of Soldiers Grove, Wis., Alan Eddy of Belvidere, Steven (Mary) Eddy of Woodstock and Deb (Michael) Zenk of Bloomington, Minn.; her grandchildren, Julie, Andye, Heather, Shannon, Aaron, Jeremy, Brandon, Kellee and Nicholas; her great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Dylan, Christopher, Bradley, Katie, Jack, Brianna, Rylan, Kayleigh and Danny; and a special friend, Ron.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; two sisters; two grandsons, Shawn and Tim; and her former husband, LaVern Eddy.

The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral at noon Monday, April 18, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park.
